We are saddened to report the death of Rockne G. Flowers on May 19, 2024. He passed away at his home in Beaufort, SC. surrounded by family. His obituary was published in the May 22, 2024 Wisconsin State Journal. His legacy continues with the Flowers Family Foundation Wisconsin Business Achievement Award.
The tenth Annual presentation of the Flowers Family Foundation Wisconsin Business Achievement Award was held on Monday September 30, 2024 at The Fireside Theatre in Fort Atkinson, WI. George Flowers, a director of the Flowers Family Foundation and son of the Foundation's benefactors, announced the winner of the $75,000 Award to Blain's Farm & Fleet. Nicole and Sarah Gilbertson accepted the Award and presented the check to SMILES, their charity of choice.
The 11th Annual WBAA will be presented in the Fall of 2025. You are encouraged to apply for these prestigious awards. One award will include a $75,000 charitable donation of the winner's choice. To qualify, the winner must employ 100+ employees. The second award will include a $25,000 charitable donation of the winner's choice. To qualify for this award, the winner will have fewer than 100 employees.
