We are saddened to report the death of Rockne G. Flowers on May 19, 2024. He passed away at his home in Beaufort, SC. surrounded by family. His obituary was published in the May 22, 2024 Wisconsin State Journal. His legacy continues with the Flowers Family Foundation Wisconsin Business Achievement Award.
The ninth Annual presentation of the Flowers Family Foundation Wisconsin Business Achievement Award was held on Tuesday September 26, 2023 at The Boldt Company Headquarters in Appleton, WI. George Flowers, a director of the Flowers Family Foundation and son of the Foundation's benefactors, announced the winner of the $75,000 Award to The Jones Dairy Farm, from Fort Atkinson. Philip Jones accepted the Award and presented the check to Feed Your Souls, their charity of choice.
Additionally, the Small Business Achievement Award was presented to Peragon Enterprises, Inc. from Shell Lake. Heath Copp accepted the award and presented the check of their charity of choice to The Restored House.
The 10th Annual WBAA will be presented in the Fall of 2024. You are encouraged to apply for these prestigious awards. One award will include a $75,000 charitable donation of the winner's choice. To qualify, the winner must employ 100+ employees. The second award will include a $25,000 charitable donation of the winner's choice. To qualify for this award, the winner will have fewer than 100 employees.
