We are saddened to report the death of Rockne G. Flowers on May 19, 2024. He passed away at his home in Beaufort, SC. surrounded by family. His obituary was published in the May 22, 2024 Wisconsin State Journal. His legacy continues with the Flowers Family Foundation Wisconsin Business Achievement Award.
The Award
These annual awards honor the recipients for their positive impact on the Wisconsin Economy. The purpose of the award is to recognize the winners in their roles in supporting the Wisconsin Economy, hoping that will publicize and encourage others. The awards are non-partisan and non-political.

The awards may be granted to an individual, partnership, corporation, association,
industry, educational institution–benefitting the Wisconsin Economy. Potential activity could include exports, inventions, developing technology and/or products or services; excellence in organization, creating or improving a product, industry or profession, educates, leads, communicates, etc.
The winners will be chosen by a selection panel consisting of:
(1) Former Governor Tommy G. Thompson
(2) Tim Christen, Chairman Emeritus-Baker Tilly
(3) Allysia Finley, Media Representative (WSJ)
The 2025 awards will include a $75,000 and $25,000 donation given to a Wisconsin-based 501(c) 3 organization of the awardee’s choosing.
